
Tania ap Siôn is Executive Director of the St Mary's Centre and a Senior Research Fellow in the Religions and Education Research Unit, University of Warwick.
Prior to her current positions, Tania was a lecturer of Religious Education in the School of Education at Bangor University, contributing to the primary BEd and PGCE programmes through the medium of Welsh and English, and acting as coordinator of the secondary PGCE programme. In addition, she was a part-time lecturer in World Religions in the School of Theology and Religious Studies at Bangor University, teaching Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Sikhism at undergraduate level. Until July 2008, she was Project Officer at the Welsh National Centre for Religious Education, and editor of the bilingual magazine, RE News.
Educational resources
Tania has managed and authored the bilingual key stage 2 series World Faiths Today Series with Professor Leslie J Francis, and worked in collaboration with NGfL Cymru to produce a bilingual electronic interactive resource to support the storybook, Wedding Service in the Christian Special Places Series for Foundation Phase pupils (3-7 year olds).
