The Reverend Dr Keith Littler began a career in education as a school teacher before becoming a 'teacher trainer' in Hull and subsequently Head of School of Applied Social Studies in the (then) Hull Polytechnic, as well as In-Service Course Organiser for the University of Hull Institute of Education. He moved to Wales to become Dean of the Carmarthenshire College at Ammanford and County Education Advisor in Nursing and Social Care. He went on to combine Ordination as a Non-stipendiary Minister in the Church in Wales with the position of Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff. After re-training as a full-time minister, he was appointed Priest in Charge of Ammanford with Betws and then Rector of the Pendine group of parishes in the Diocese of St Davids, also serving as Area Dean, a member of the Church in Wales Governing Body and various other committees including the Church's Disciplinary Committee.

He has graduated as BSc (Hons) (London), MA (York), PhD (Hull), MTh (Oxford), DMin (Bangor), and has been external examiner and visiting lecturer to several universities. As a BTEC Board Member and Examiner, he has examined in over 20 colleges in England and Wales.
