DMin in Religion and Education

supporting the continuing professional development of religion-related and faith-based educators

The St Mary’s Centre at St Deiniol’s Library in partnership with Glyndwr University offers a new, innovative and flexible DMin Professional Doctorate Programme incorporating the intermediate awards of:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Religion and Education
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Religion and Education
  • MA in Religion and Education

The part-time, distance-learning programme is tailored to respond to individual student’s interests and working contexts, and is delivered by a growing faculty of 16 experienced and research-active staff. The awarding body is the University of Wales.

Programme structure:

Year 1:       two 6,000-word assignments (exit with PG Certificate)

Year 2:       two 6,000-word assignments (exit with PG Diploma)

Year 3:       18,000-word dissertation (exit with MA)

Years 4-6:  portfolio and 45,000-word thesis (DMin)
